Movebooth Rental Terms
Last updated: Oct 3, 2026 · Version r1
This version is kept for good at movebooth.com/rental-terms/r1.
These Rental Terms apply when you book a photo booth rental on movebooth.com. They add to Movebooth's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If they conflict, these Rental Terms govern your rental. "We" means MOVEBOOTH LLC; "you" means the person or organization booking.
1. Your booking.
- Your rental covers the kit, the software plan, the dates, and the number of units you choose at checkout.
- Bookings need at least 10 days' notice so we can ship and set up your event.
- We may decline or cancel a booking, for example if we can't deliver in time. If we do, we refund what you paid.
2. Price, tax, and shipping.
- You pay the rental price, round-trip shipping, and any sales tax shown at checkout.
- If you owe late, damage, or loss charges under sections 5 and 6, we'll email you an itemized invoice with photos.
3. Cancellations and changes.
- Cancel at least 14 days before your start date: full refund.
- 7 to 13 days before: 50% refund.
- Fewer than 7 days before, or after the kit has shipped: no refund.
- Date changes are free if we receive them at least 7 days before shipping, and subject to availability.
4. Delivery and setup.
- We ship your kit ready to use, with a prepaid return label.
- Check the contents when the kit arrives. Tell us within one day if anything is damaged or missing (photos help).
- Set up and use the booth as our setup guide describes.
5. Returns and late returns.
- Pack everything in the case it came in and drop it off with the carrier, using the prepaid label, within 1 business day after your end date.
- Late returns cost one day's rental price per unit for each day late.
- If a kit is more than 7 days late and you haven't arranged a return date with us, we may treat it as lost (section 6).
6. Care, damage, and loss.
- You're responsible for the kit from delivery until the carrier accepts your return package. That includes theft and accidental damage, but not normal wear or a defect.
- If something is damaged, you pay the lower of the repair cost and its replacement value. If something is lost, you pay its replacement value.
- Replacement values are listed in the table at the end of these terms.
- We'll send any claim, with photos, within 5 business days after the kit comes back. You can dispute it by replying within 10 days.
7. Guests, photos, and messages.
- At your event you are the "Operator" under our Terms, and you decide how guest photos and contact details are used.
- You agree to:
- put up the booth sign we provide (or tell guests the same things another way);
- send guests marketing only if they ticked a separate opt-in;
- not let children under 13 enter contact details;
- never place the booth in a restroom, changing area, or other private space.
- The booth texts or emails a guest only the photo they asked for.
- We don't collect face data or other biometrics.
8. Use rules.
- Use the booth indoors or in dry, covered areas, on a stable surface, and with the supplied power adapter.
- Don't open the booth, remove our app or device settings, lend or sub-rent the kit, or use it for anything unlawful.
9. If something doesn't work.
- Contact support during your event. We'll help remotely, and if we can't fix it we'll refund the rental price for each unit and day it couldn't be used.
- THAT REFUND IS YOUR REMEDY FOR EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE THAT DOESN'T WORK. EXCEPT AS THESE TERMS SAY, WE RENT THE KIT WITHOUT OTHER WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIM THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY. THERE IS NO WARRANTY THAT THE GOODS WILL BE FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The "1-year limited warranty" on our site applies to booths you buy, not to rentals.
10. Limits on liability.
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS OR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A RENTAL IS LIMITED TO WHAT YOU PAID FOR IT.
- This does not limit our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or by a defect in our equipment, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
11. Florida notice.
Failure to return rental property or equipment upon expiration of the rental period and failure to pay all amounts due (including costs for damage to the property or equipment) are evidence of abandonment or refusal to redeliver the property, punishable in accordance with section 812.155, Florida Statutes.
12. Disputes.
- Section 12 of our Terms of Service (arbitration, class-action waiver, and the 30-day opt-out) applies to rentals.
- If you rent as an individual for personal, family, or household use (for example, a wedding):
- the arbitration hearing can take place by video or in the county where you live, at your choice; and
- nothing in these terms takes away protections that your home state's law gives you as a consumer.
13. Changes.
We may update these Rental Terms for future bookings. The version you accepted at checkout applies to your booking.
Replacement values
| Item | Replacement value |
|---|---|
| Rental kit, complete (per unit) | $1,000 |
For a lost or damaged part of a kit, the replacement value is what we pay to replace that part with an equivalent one, never more than the complete-kit value above. We'll include the receipt or a price quote with any claim.
