Pricing
Movebooth offers three software subscription plans: Lite at $49.99/month ($499.99/year), Plus at $149.99/month ($1,499.99/year), and Pro at $249.99/month ($2,499.99/year). All plans include access to the Movebooth iOS app, cloud dashboard, and core capture features. Annual plans save you roughly 17% compared to monthly billing. Hardware (the Movebooth iPad photo booth) is available separately for $2,499. Rentals start at $399 per event.
Lite ($49.99/mo) covers the core Movebooth experience: photos, GIFs, and boomerangs, brand customization, and delivery via SMS and email. Plus ($149.99/mo) adds lead capture with custom form fields (name, email, phone), CSV export, and enhanced branding tools. Pro ($249.99/mo) is the full-featured tier: everything in Plus, plus extended lead fields (ZIP code and date of birth), advanced analytics, multiple gallery support, custom CTA buttons in delivery messages, and priority support. Lead capture is a Plus and Pro feature. It is not available on Lite.
Lead capture (collecting guest contact information at your event) is available on Plus ($149.99/mo) and Pro ($249.99/mo). The Lite plan does not include lead capture. If your goal is building an email or SMS list from your activation, you need at least the Plus plan.
Yes. Annual plans are discounted roughly 17% vs monthly billing. Lite: $499.99/year (vs $599.88/year monthly). Plus: $1,499.99/year (vs $1,799.88/year monthly). Pro: $2,499.99/year (vs $2,999.88/year monthly). If you run multiple events per year or want continuous access for an in-store or venue installation, annual pricing is the better deal.
Yes. Hardware kit purchases include 30 days of Movebooth Pro free. Annual plan purchases include a 7-day free trial of the selected plan. No need to contact us — trials start automatically.
Rental pricing starts at $399 per event. Final pricing depends on event duration and package tier. Rentals include the full photo booth kit, free shipping both ways, and all Pro software features pre-configured for your event. See the rental page for current rates.
Software Plans
The three tiers differ primarily in lead capture, data export, and analytics depth. Lite ($49.99/mo): photos, GIFs, and boomerangs with brand customization and delivery, ideal for brand awareness activations where you do not need to collect contact data. Plus ($149.99/mo): adds lead capture (name, email, phone) with custom form fields, CSV/CRM export, and richer delivery customization, best for marketers who need a contact list from each event. Pro ($249.99/mo): everything in Plus plus extended lead fields (ZIP code, date of birth), advanced analytics, multiple galleries, custom CTA buttons, and priority support, ideal for agencies managing multiple brands or venues running ongoing activations.
Yes. You can change your plan at any time from the Movebooth dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Contact support if you have questions about plan transitions.
CSV export of collected leads is available on Plus and Pro. Once your event ends, you can download all captured contacts (name, email, phone, ZIP code, date of birth based on form fields you set up) directly from the Movebooth dashboard. This file is ready to import into any CRM, email platform, or marketing tool.
Movebooth provides CSV export compatible with any CRM that accepts standard CSV imports, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, and others. No native API integration is available.
Movebooth captures three types of content: still photos, animated GIFs (shareable looping animations), and boomerangs. All content is delivered to guests via SMS or email, shared to social, or displayed on a hosted selfie wall. Guests receive their content immediately after capture.
Movebooth is an iOS app designed for iPad. The Movebooth photo booth hardware supports iPads from 10.2" through 12.9" (see the hardware page for the full compatibility list). If you have a compatible iPad, you can use the software standalone without the hardware kit. The photo booth provides the enclosure, lighting, and rolling case.
Yes. Movebooth is used not only for one-off events but also as a permanent installation in retail stores, venues, hotels, and healthcare facilities. An annual subscription is the most cost-effective option for ongoing use. The remote dashboard management makes it easy to update branding and content without visiting the location. Rentals
The rental process is self-service: (1) Book on the rental page with your event dates, package, name, and email. (2) Movebooth ships the pre-configured photo booth to your address. (3) You assemble it at your event (5-minute setup), run the activation, and ship it back using the included return label. Lead data and content are available in your dashboard immediately. Book at least 10 days in advance for shipping and configuration.
Rentals include the full Movebooth photo booth kit (enclosure, ring light, stand, iPad), the app pre-configured with your branding, all cables and accessories, a rolling hard case, free shipping both ways within the lower 48 states, and a return label. All rentals operate on Pro-tier software features: lead capture, custom form fields, CSV export, branded delivery messages, and real-time gallery access.
Book at least 10 days in advance; this is the minimum required for shipping and configuration. For events requiring complex branding setup, 2–3 weeks is better. The rental booking form enforces the 10-day minimum when selecting your start date.
Yes. All Movebooth rentals include full Pro-tier software features, including lead capture, custom form fields, branded delivery messages, real-time analytics, and CSV export. You do not need a separate software subscription to use these features during a rental.

Yes. Once your branding is configured in the Movebooth dashboard, you can run a test session on any compatible iPad to preview the full guest experience (including overlays, form fields, and delivery messages) before your event goes live. This lets you confirm everything looks right without waiting until event day.
Movebooth subscriptions are per-device. Each active Movebooth session requires its own plan. If you need to run simultaneous activations at different locations, contact the team to discuss multi-device pricing or agency arrangements. Rentals are a good option for one-off events when you do not want to purchase an additional subscription.
Hardware
The Movebooth photo booth is a custom-built iPad enclosure with a dimming ring light with built-in diffusion, a slim profile riser, a weighted steel baseplate, and a rolling hard case for transport. The entire unit is metal construction (available in black or white). It is designed to look premium at brand activations and corporate events while being practical to transport and set up solo.
The Movebooth iPad photo booth kiosk is $2,499. This includes the enclosure, RGBW ring light, baseplate, rolling flight case with casters, cables, and two faceplates for 10.2"–12.9" iPads. It also includes a 30-day free trial of Movebooth Pro. The iPad itself is sold separately.
The Movebooth photo booth ships with 2 interchangeable faceplates covering 10.2", 10.5", 10.9", 11", and 12.9" iPad screens. Compatible models include iPad 7th–11th gen, iPad Air 3rd gen through M3, iPad Pro 10.5" through 12.9" (3rd–6th gen), and iPad Pro 11" M4. Check the hardware page for the full compatibility list.

Yes. The Movebooth photo booth includes a built-in dimming ring light with diffusion, designed specifically for selfie photography at events. The ring light is integrated into the enclosure, so there is no separate lighting rig to set up. You can dim it to match your venue lighting or ambient conditions.
No. The Movebooth software (iOS app + cloud dashboard) works on any compatible iPad regardless of whether you own the Movebooth photo booth hardware. Many customers start with just the software subscription and a tablet stand, then buy the photo booth once they validate the ROI. The photo booth adds portability, lighting, and a professional appearance. The software works independently.
Setup & Support
Movebooth is designed for 5-minute setup. Assemble the stand using the included hex driver, mount the head, place the iPad, connect power, and launch the app. Your customized experience (overlays, form fields, delivery messages) is pre-configured in the dashboard before the event and syncs to the device automatically. No on-site technical expertise is required.
No. Movebooth is fully self-service — guests walk up, take their photo or boomerang, fill in their contact info, and receive delivery, all without any staff involvement. Remote monitoring of session activity and lead captures is available from any browser via your cloud dashboard at app.mvbth.com.
Yes. All branding (overlays, logos, color schemes, form fields, delivery copy, call-to-action buttons) is managed through the Movebooth cloud dashboard. Changes push to the app in real time, without requiring you to physically touch the device. This makes Movebooth ideal for agencies managing multiple simultaneous activations or brands running ongoing installations.
Contact Movebooth support immediately. For rental events, the Movebooth team is your first point of contact for hardware issues. For hardware you own, the photo booth comes with a one-year limited warranty. Common software issues can often be resolved remotely via the dashboard. For critical events, have a charged backup iPad as a contingency. The app installs quickly.
Core content capture (photos, GIFs, boomerangs) works without WiFi. Content is captured locally on the iPad. However, some features require an internet connection: real-time dashboard sync, SMS/email delivery to guests, and cloud gallery updates. For events in locations with unreliable WiFi, consider a cellular hotspot as a backup. Content captured offline will sync and send once connectivity is restored.
Yes. The Movebooth dashboard lets you swap overlays, update logos, change color schemes, and edit delivery copy between events, or even mid-event if needed. You can maintain multiple gallery configurations for different clients or campaigns, making it easy to run back-to-back activations with entirely different branding.
Download Movebooth from the Apple App Store on your iPad. Search for "Movebooth" and install the app. Once installed, log in with your Movebooth account credentials. Your branding, event settings, and gallery configurations will sync automatically from the cloud dashboard. No manual file transfer or USB setup is required.
Data & CRM
Movebooth can capture: first name, last name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and date of birth. Which fields appear on the capture form is fully configurable per event in the dashboard. You can also add custom form fields and consent checkboxes. Lead capture is available on Plus and Pro plans.
Lead export is simple: log in to the Movebooth dashboard, navigate to your event or gallery, and download the CSV of all captured contacts. The file includes all form field data for each session, timestamped. This CSV is compatible with any CRM, email platform, or spreadsheet tool. Export is available on Plus and Pro plans.
Movebooth provides CSV export that imports directly into Salesforce, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, and any other platform that accepts standard CSV contacts. CSV export is available on Plus and Pro plans. No native API integration is available.
Movebooth is built with data privacy in mind. You control what data is collected (configured per event), and guests opt in by submitting the form. For deployments requiring GDPR compliance, you can configure consent language and checkboxes in the capture form. Yes. The Movebooth capture form supports custom form fields including consent checkboxes, age gates, and opt-in language. These are configured in the dashboard per event. This is particularly useful for healthcare activations, alcohol brand events (age verification), and any deployment where explicit consent is required before data collection.
Guest data captured through Movebooth is stored securely in the Movebooth cloud dashboard, accessible only to the account holder. Contact data is not shared with third parties. You retain full ownership of your event lead data. For enterprise data handling requirements or to understand data retention policies, contact the Movebooth team directly.
Yes. Account holders can manage and delete captured data from the Movebooth cloud dashboard. This supports compliance with data subject deletion requests under GDPR, CCPA, and similar privacy regulations. For specific data management workflows or bulk deletion requests, contact the Movebooth team.
